I'm happy to see this out. Much more research can be done, not just on the long-term health and economic impact of plasma markets, but on how households decide the price at which they are willing to leverage their bodies at an unknown interest rate. academic.oup.com/rfs/article/37…

Oregon’s Medicaid does not currently have EDS/ hEDS/ HSD as a recognized or covered condition on OHP. Let’s change that! Long overdue! You can help Oregon’s Zebras by sending in a short comment, stating you support option 2! It’s time. Sept 13th 8am PST is deadline.

Opioid use in particular is one of the things with decades of evidence on meaningful ways to protect people, treat people, and improve our entire society in the process. Better evidence than most things in medicine! And yet we still don’t do those things while our loved ones die.

It was crazily fitting that Barbara Ehrenreich left us so close to Labor Day. I was fortunate to call her a friend and mentor, the world was elevated by her intelligence and Barbed wit.

Friends, I have a big favor to ask! My friend Abdul’s sister has cancer and is in need of a blood stem-cell transplant. Unfortunately, there are no donors who match her in the database. I learned recently that there is massive shortage of donors who are ethnically North
