In the middle of the move to the new FMI science building I am so happy to share this work with Viventis Microscopy (Part of Leica Microsystems) Franziska Moos @SimonSuppinger Gustavo de Medeiros. Imaging organoids (and hydra 😀 ) has never been so easy and beautiful!!

Now in Cell Stem Cell: Researchers at the FMI and Novartis News discovered a new molecule that activates a protein involved in regeneration. The tool may help advance our understanding of how organisms repair damaged tissue. Prisca Liberali Clara fmi.ch/news-events/ar…

We're excited to announce that starting June 2024, Prisca Liberali will hold dual positions as a Senior Group Leader at the FMI and Professor of Multicellular Systems at D-BSSE, ETH Zurich in Basel. Congratulations on this well-deserved recognition, Prisca! fmi.ch/news-events/ar…

An amazing period for the lab! I would like to thank the FMI science and D-BSSE, ETH Zurich for all the support. I am looking forward to join new colleagues and increase the collaborative environment in Basel that is an incredible scientific hub Institute of Human Biology Biozentrum, University of Basel Novartis Science

🎥 Researchers at the FMI and Viventis Microscopy (Part of Leica Microsystems) teamed up to develop a cutting-edge light-sheet microscope that has the potential to transform imaging studies and enable scientific breakthroughs. Prisca Liberali Franziska Moos @SimonSuppinger Tsiairis Lab

In our latest interview we met Joel Lüthi & Virginie Uhlmann from the new BioVisionCenter University of Zurich FMI science. Throughout the interview their love of bioimage analysis & the community of researchers in this area shone through. Check it out here: focalplane.biologists.com/2024/06/12/int…

Paper alert: nature.com/articles/s4156… Nature Materials introduces the “Mean Back Relaxation” which quantifies non-equilibrium from simple passive particle trajectories. Amazing theory (M. Krüger, G.Knotz) and experiments @MunkerTill to obtain cell mechanics by simple observation🧐
