It’s the first day of our awareness roadshow in #Belfast! We're at the Parliament buildings until 2:30pm with the inflatable bowel. Come and see us👋 It’s a great chance to chat to staff and volunteers about bowel cancer and answer any questions you may have.

#OneThing we want to spread awareness about is family history and #BowelCancer. If anyone in your close family has had bowel cancer and you have symptoms, it’s important to tell your GP so you can get an at-home test. #BowelCancerAwarenessMonth

There will be women tonight dreading their partner coming home. Football does not cause domestic abuse, but it can become more frequent or severe after big games, with reporting increasing by 38% when England lose. Go to womensaid.org.uk. In an emergency, always call 999.

Very saddened at the passing of Ger Fitzgerald, who made an outstanding contribution to GAA A talented hurler, Ger won 2 All Irelands with Cork in ‘86 & ‘90.  He was also a wonderful coach & mentor to so many young people in his beloved Midleton Deepest sympathies to his family
