Found this poor little possum who’s fallen out of their tree. I called wildlife rescue and took them to our rescue vet at 8am when they open.

The vet looked over the possum, very healthy. Carers are overwhelmed so he will be kept at home and will be released into the tree tonight. Bella got to hold it was so excited

Now to do a Daisy and destroy the cats

On today’s episode of injured wildlife at my home Pulled this Magpie from the pool, it must have crash landed sometime overnight as lots of poo & a few feathers on ground Had been in the pool less than a minute as my mother in law saw it fall in Off to Animal hospital at 8

Looks to be about 6 months old, broken wing but other than that in good condition. Vet taking in and will arrange a carer, the two recent experiences with wildlife Victoria have been incredible
