My naive hope is that one day Falco F# becomes the entry point for #fsharp using #dotnet on the web. A gentle, but productive foray into functional programming. That prepares you for the more functional options out there.

Alright, #fsharp folks, imagine one F# dev had, say, a half a month of “free” time (like 20-ish hours a week), what would you like to see implemented/fixed in tooling/compiler/standard library/new library? Anything existing? New?

It's insane to me that Postgres, an OSS database created by some Unix gods, has better F# support than a thing Microsoft actively invests in and promotes called Azure Functions where adding such support would cost barely a week of work (including documentation updates) for 1 IC

this is perhaps the most important browser feature of the last decade: the ability to move DOM elements arbitrarily in the DOM w/o losing state (focus, video, etc.) it will unlock & radically simplify a tremendous amount of functionality on the web please r/t for max visibility

Call me oldskool but I think a search engine should point me to websites, not try to answer my question with a bullshit generator.

SEO is dead, so we turned to Google Ads. Weekend campaigns have just a few clicks (b2b), but this time 500+ clicks and double the budget. What happened? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ we refund 100 clicks. That's isn't even close! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Hello!!! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Rinse and repeat next week!

10 year anniversary of #csharplight. Written before C# v6. C# has really come a long way, and has got most of these features now. Which is great. Now to be perfect it just needs to add DUs and eliminate curly braces 🙂 slideshare.net/slideshow/c-li…

I am one again reminding people that if you are creating a Windows 11 installer, use Rufus - You can bypass the RAM, Secure Boot and TPM requirements - You can remove the requirement for a Microsoft account - Disable automatic encryption - Auto-create account and more

I've been working on adding Flexible Server PGSQL support to Farmer this week. It's evident to me that over the last few years, nothing has really changed in terms of the difficulty in understanding the specifications of ARM templates. #armtemplate #fsharp Microsoft Azure

Just launched ddnss.net a simple DNS tool written in F#. I need to check DNS/NS and hosting providers often. The existing tools were covered in ads or more tools to find chain NS. Give it a go and would love feedback

Look ma' no esbuild, no cdn, and somewhat editor tooling support! (you wouldn't believe how much the tooling "just works" when your dependencies are stored in a "node_modules" directory) #dotnet #fsharp #webdev #spa #importmaps
