Last Sat. at Free Verse The Poetry Society was great - meeting poets, mag editors, but thinking it would also be great to meet the editors behind the online mags we love. I know they have no 'wares' to sell as such, but is there a way to make this happen?

'The loss of birds' Magma de Cabreiroá Climate Change issue appears time & again as a poem that's loved/enjoyed/a resource/ - it works on many levels: exquisite detail, imagination, activism through elegy & makes me think if it won a major comp. everyone😉 would be happy?

Many thanks to the 'Underworld' editors Ella Duffy, Kate Simpson and Leo Boix for hosting a wonderful night of poetry Royal Geographical Society (with IBG). The staff there took great care of us. I really appreciated pretending the non-alcoholic sparking drink was champagne! 🥂
