Had an appointment UCLA Health today. Was charged $14 to park for 47 mins. There is absolutely no justifiable reason for this. Discussions about health equity don’t just center in exam rooms, but in barriers we put up before patients can even walk through the door.

Finished my last clinical of medical school today with the same attending who interviewed me over 4 years ago. His advice? Remember how far you’ve come and have confidence knowing how hard you worked at every step in the process. 👩🏻‍⚕️
