Trump berates Zelensky, the leader of a democratic country courageously fighting Russian imperialism, while he allies himself with Putin, a dictator who started the bloodiest European war in 80 years. Sorry, President Trump. We believe in democracy, not authoritarianism.

The Netherlands supports Ukraine as firmly as ever. Now more than ever. We want a lasting peace and an end to the war of aggression started by Russia. For Ukraine and its people, and for Europe.

Ukraine is Europe! We stand by Ukraine. We will step up our support to Ukraine so that they can continue to fight back the agressor. Today, it became clear that the free world needs a new leader. It’s up to us, Europeans, to take this challenge.

There is an aggressor: Russia. There is a victim: Ukraine. We were right to help Ukraine and sanction Russia three years ago—and to keep doing so. By “we,” I mean the Americans, the Europeans, the Canadians, the Japanese, and many others. Thank you to

Joined in on the first qualitative interview Sajedeh Rasti is doing for her PhD, interviewing scientists involved in large scale coordinated projects. Incredibly interesting. Qualitative research and talking to scientists in other disciplines is providing a wealth of information

Frank Harrell But I hope my admittedly bitter comments will invite others to consider how they can make women feel safer in this profession. My own experience is that nobody steps forward when the abuse is happening. They could but they choose not to. Why?

Dear sport scientists: stop saying things like “expertise development is non-linear” unless you can show what that actually means. Most of the time, you can fit a simple linear model: y = a·x + b and it works just fine. Sadly, “non-linear” has become a buzzword

For people who published/conducted Stage 2 registered reports, have you ever had issues that required significant deviations from the Stage 1 and how have you handled this? Are there any instances where this did not lead to rejection?
