The kind folks at BrookesPoetryCentre have picked my poem "House, Kept" for their #WeeklyPoem! So cool! The poem can also be found in my collection Live Ones from U of R Press (Canada) and tall-lighthouse (U.K.).

Got my very first #plr Public Lending Right cheque from Canada Council for the Arts. Couldn't be more grateful to TWUC, the Canada Council, public libraries, and everyone who checks books out or requests a book at their local library branch. It DOES make a difference!

Submit to this! I did so and did not win, but my chapbook got published in a beautiful edition by one of the best presses going. Do it up!

Wrote the poem in November, submitted it in December, and it got accepted by a journal yesterday. I know publishing is mercurial and slow for many right now, but hang tight - the impossible is still possible.

I'm pretty proud of this piece. It's also my first published personal essay!
