On Friday, after months of planning, we finally held our Girlguiding SWE #IWD Roadshow! I had a great time telling everyone about our Youth Voice and Participation projects and we launched our brand new Empower In A Box resource! Thanks to everyone who made it a great event💙

An incredible evening for #IWD24! Girlguiding SWE launched our brand new Youth Network & Empower resource to ensure that the voices of girls & young women across our Region are heard & empower them to make change! I was so inspired by the members who shared their ideas & views 😀

🎉 As always, #InternationalWomensDay went off in style at Girlguiding South West England 🎉 This evening event truly was a reminder that our focus is to help girls and young women know that #AllGirlsCanDoAnything.

Boots are offering a FREE box of Tampax Tampons on their Advantage card at the moment! I don’t use tampons but picked some up this morning to donate those more in need - it’s free & easy to do so would encourage everyone to make use of this either for yourself or to donate! 🩸

The Great Egg Hunt at Girlguiding Gloucestershire’s Deer Park is well underway! The easter bunny has hidden the eggs and they are now being hunted by all of our young members 🐣

Forgot to tweet about going to Vote yesterday! I hope everyone managed to use their right to vote - It’s so important, especially after everything previous generations went through to give us the ability to put that cross in the box! 🗳️

Helping out at Cheltenham Festivals Science Festival with Girlguiding Gloucestershire and having a great time! Looking forward to a busy day with lots of families tomorrow after a few days or school children! 💙

Tonight we held 4th Cheltenham Guides Olympics 🏅 They all designed a team kit for the country they were given then competed in beanbag archery, paper plate discus and rhythmic gymnastics to fight for medals and the golden cup! 🏆

This week we had Elisa (Guide Dog puppy fosterer and Guide leader) bring her Guide dog puppy, Laurie, to Brownies! They got to learn about braille and lots of different eye conditions as well as have lots of cuddles! Guide Dogs Girlguiding

Had a great day at Girlguiding HQ yesterday celebrating the Advocate Panel’s 15th birthday! My years on the advocate panel were some of the best of my life, I’ll always be grateful for the opportunities it gave me💙 It was lovely to catch up with some old and new friends🩵
