Was on this motorbike & we saw this dog get hit by car & it literally died in my arms. Was crying for a good hour until this kitty came up to me at the next hotel & I had to give it some love. Can I bring him home? 🥹 #strays #bali #canggu

The locals were partying for the Galungan holiday ‘til about 1AM & I finally fell asleep to be awoken right now at 2:30AM by lightning, thunder, & torrential downpour. Hopefully it lets up by late morning for my full day excursion of the island. It’s the whole reason I came here.

Fell back asleep after the thunder to be woken up again at 4:15AM by roosters. Gonna try to go back to sleep again. 😒 At least the rain stopped…

Got to the next island & hit 4 ATM’s before one finally worked. 🤪

Dog bite update: the hotel manager said he found a place for me to get a rabies vaccine! Success!

Came back to my hotel room ready to watch at least a few more episodes of Queen of the South & just realized that the ep. 10 that I’m on is the very last! 😭 Need more recommendations!

Back in Bali, proper. Haven’t had a full day in Ubud yet, but I have a feeling I’m gonna love it…

Countdown until checkout to leave Bali & head back to the US & I have so many emotions. I have been traveling for almost a month & it’s going to be hard to say goodbye but I also feel refreshed, renewed, & ready to get back to my life back home. 🥹🥰

Taking a hiatus this year from traveling out of the country, what with the new puppy & trying to save more for a condo, but that doesn’t mean I still can’t go somewhere! Planning a road trip w/ the puppers to Carmel & Monterey for my bday in May! Stay tuned…
