Syntax highlighting is something we all love from our code editors - now we’ve got it in Rerun data frames and selection panels! We’ve got different colors - according to the data type! 🟪🟩

If you're not labeling your own data, you're NGMI. I take this seriously, so I finished building the first version of my hand-tracking annotation app using Rerun and Gradio. The combination of Rerun's callback system and Gradio integration enables a highly customizable

We finally support transparency for meshes & various shapes (boxes, ellipsoids, etc.) 🥳 This makes it easier to navigate 3D scenes and see through to what's important! Initial support comes for - color component on all of Boxes3D, Ellipsoids3D, Capsules3D & Cylinders3D -

This release expands us from the .rrd format to the .mcap format as well. This support is 🚧EXPERIMENTAL🚧 We currently support a subset of ROS2/CDR and Protocol Buffers messages. Development is ongoing and please feel free to share your use cases! Getting started is easy,

🧢 MCAP support has landed in Rerun! 0.25 introduces 🚧 experimental 🚧 MCAP that lets you inspect your existing files with Rerun's powerful open source viewer. This is still an early feature, but we're eager to share this development with the community for feedback.

One small step for shipbuilding, one giant leap for Valstad. Our custom software stack is now controlling the robots. Ingest CAD model, generate robot instructions. Zero manual programming. We'll be open-sourcing the FANUC drivers we wrote to do this shortly.

Got some new out-of-distribution data to test with, tracker is looking 🔥. Had to disable the mano optimization for now as I've found some wonky bugs, but will have those solved soon

Mobile manipulation is bottlenecked by expensive robot teleoperation… What if we could scale it with cheap human data instead❓ That is the idea behind EMMA (Egocentric Mobile MAnipulation). It learns directly from human egocentric demonstrations plus static robot data. NO

Last month when we released Rerun 0.25 we talked a bit about sharing. x.com/rerundotio/sta… We got a bunch of great questions about it, so we wrote up a blog post! We've seen some users sharing their work and while sometimes it's just screenshots, at other times it's full

From 8 -> 5 -> 4 exocentric cameras, all visualized with Rerun. I'm dropping the number of cameras used and collecting my own data to make sure I'm not overfitting to open-source datasets. I've made lots of improvements to the calibration code and ended up merging the full

we're cooking up a robotics meetup for next week - anyone want to be involved? It's going to be a tight group, so reply or DM us if you're interested!
