This afternoon my class and I took part in a virtual Evolution workshop with Natural History Museum. The session was really informative and interesting and we all took lots away from it. A great way to introduce our Science unit of work for this term.

Absolute joke from ticketmasteruk this morning! On your website from 9:30am this morning ready for tickets going on sale at 10:00am and literally within seconds of sales opening you have no tickets!!! But it’s okay, as I can buy them for almost treble the price as a resale 😡

I laughed and cried throughout and finished the entire book in one day. Thank you alexandrapotter for writing such a superb book with an incredibly relatable character. I’m not quite 40 yet but so many things resonated with me. Can’t wait to read the next one! ❤️

It's accepted that the worst-behaved children and the most selfish and incapable parents soak up a huge proportion of schools' time and resources. However, nobody ever really analyses how much worse this makes school for the average child.

My class and I read ‘The Final Year’ together last year and they absolutely loved it! They were disappointed there wasn’t a sequel and so were very excited to hear of this release! Hoping it’s published before July so we can read it together 🤞🏻

Asked my class to help pick my next read yesterday as I couldn’t decide. I read the blurbs from each & it was a clear victory for STEW FOSTER ‘All the Way Down’. We then got cosy in front of the (on screen) fireplace to enjoy the first chapter together in First Chapter Friday 📖

I have had one of the BEST days in my teaching career today! A day of book chat, quizzes, origami bookmarks, hot chocolate and finally got to meet the brilliant STEW FOSTER in person (10/10 would definitely recommend!) Just what the kids, and their very tired teacher, needed!
