Liz Truss’s farewell speech was a sad reminder of what might have been, had she not been so badly undermined by the jackals who contrived from the very beginning of her premiership to propel their preferred candidate into office.

Thank you Liz Truss for trying to deliver in office what you promised in the contest. That is rare. Your agenda was and is spot on. It’s just that big govt cannot bear handing power back to the people. It’s a great shame you were brought down. You offered a glimmer of hope 🙏🏼
