I am in a dilemma rn. I live in India and get paid pretty well at a startup in SF and work with cracked engineers but I keep getting FOMO about SF. Keep thinking I might regret not moving.

I dont understand these takes. Uber is trying to spin up infinite routes based on demand. This is better than a bus because the stop is probably going to be closer to you and it can scale up or down based on demand. I can see huge potential for this in India especially.

More people need to hear this. Dont get me wrong, do invest a portion of your income for the sake of financial discipline but when the need comes do not hesitate to invest in yourself even if its a sizeable portion.

Hurts a lot to see this being a Malayalee. Theres a lot of work being done in this space by the govt but we are barely a competition to other states in South India like OP mentions. Until Kerala govt takes a strict stance on CITU & union goons, we will never be taken seriously.
