After a long winter it’s nice to get out and do some proper greenkeeping! Tees lightly scarified, blown and cut. Renovated discs going back out after a freshen up over winter as well 👌

Starting the first ‘spring’ month off in fashion, at least it’s frozen water today and not rain…

A big push to get out and start shaping the course with a harrow on fairways followed by a cut and blow. After a long wait it’s also good to see the work on 18 coming to an end! Spring is almost here and not a day too soon.

Rain interrupted unfortunately but the first 6 greens have been micro-cored & lightly scarified ahead of a dress tomorrow.

A year summed up in three pictures (mostly the third). At points it’s felt like constant steps backwards put the first and second photos are taken almost exactly a year apart and show significant steps forward. Now, can someone please turn the tap off!

Just sat down to write this exact post 🙌 Out a bit later than we would have liked but thanks Tom Smith for sorting the cups, flag sticks, pennants and not to mention the PG sticks 👌Looking great on a sunny and ever improving course!

We couldn’t have hoped for a more immediate impact from the purchase of the Ventrac Tractors. It’s allowed us to cut areas we’ve not got to for 8-months and it’s cutting banks that previously had to be hand cut. Really tying things together at a crucial stage of the season.

Nice to see the golf course in sun, even if it is between the showers!

2024 has been an incredibly tough year from the start but has ended in the most incredible way - we welcomed little Henry to the family on Boxing Day morning. Thank you to everyone in the greenkeeping world for the support and messages throughout this year, here’s to a great 2025
