Toronto Public Health, I'm a Toronto resident. I need guidance about COVID vaccination, COVID safety at home, work, and transit, and clearly presented data to show ambient risk. I want us to know about health risk. I want us to know about indoor air quality. Will you help us? 8/8

This is a damning report. The Ford government cut wastewater testing early citing that the federal government would take over, which was never true. Doug Ford's government knew, from an internal memo, that wastewater surveillance would, "test the whole population to identify

Doug Fordโ€ฆ CANโ€™T/WONT โŒ Get housing built โŒ Get infrastructure built โŒ Get healthcare capacity built โŒ Run an education system that isnโ€™t a Ponzi scheme CAN/WILL โœ… Spend $1B to get beer in corner stores 1yr early โœ… Butter buns of corrupt mooches he calls โ€œbuddysโ€

We have no science center, the hospitals are precariously understaffed, parks are overrun by homeless people for whom there is no space in shelters, but at least we can buy booze early in the morning from Muhammedโ€™s corner store. Thanks Doug!

.Jagmeet Singh effective solutions to problems like this is what people want to see from the NDP (or any party) that's serious about tackling housing affordability. Hope to hear one from your party in the coming months

Ontario is raking in the biggest tax haul as a share of GDP (outside the pandemic, when GDP declined) ever. Bigger even than when Bob Rae was Premier. (But affordability is Justin Trudeauโ€™s fault) #cdnpoli #onpoli

I remember speculating about this (paper -> podcast, though really just dictation) back in 2019, and it was dismissed as way too hard. What's "way too hard" today that we'll see in 2029 I wonder?

I have this argument all the time with ppl. Positional ordering isn't solved in domains where no natural ordering exists just because you use a transformer.

Quite a good fact check from Martin Regg Cohn. Toronto Star: Believe the numbers, not the premier: Doug Ford's unemployment numbers are worse than when he took over from Kathleen Wynne thestar.com/politics/politโ€ฆ #onpoli

It's mind boggling that after six years of government in ON by Doug Ford, and four years of "municipal government" by Fords in Toronto, we still feel compelled to treat these grade-school optics-only proposals as genuine policy proposals. It's bonkers.

Ford likes to brag about his beer & wine โ€œdealโ€ - which cost us millions of dollars. It is astounding that they can fast-track alcohol while 1199 ERs closed last year. Ontario. You deserve better. #onpoli

Yep. Not only would this cost ~300B dollars in 2024, it would require expropriation of many, many houses and buildings. Utterly insane to consider when you can buy back the 407 for way less, and immediately increase capacity across the GTHA
