#discountcarandtruckrental Toronto (off airport) ...please hire more people, this is the worst experience ever. Individual employees are trying but it’s TERRIBLE.

The problem of dependability. If one is a buffalo type, strong and silent and present on landscape like a large muscular couch, one of those completetely dependable people… one runs some risks. Now I am not quite like that, as a cat type I am... tmblr.co/ZLlJ-h2kWQI2_

#yeg #groatroad why not put up signs asking drivers to use both lanes fully then zipper merge at river valley vs bridge? Reduce congestion AND dirty looks for trying to improve traffic flow...

The nursing cuts are just the beginning...Albertans want good health care, and this direction is disastrous. Outright dishonesty does not play well. Many voters wanted fiscal conservatism but did NOT sign up for gutting health care, United Conservative Caucus Jason Kenney 🇨🇦🇺🇦🇮🇱

Study a drug in thousands of people to prove beyond a doubt that it works. Give that same drug to millions of people and rare side effects will come to light. Every time, guaranteed. While the rare stuff is making news, remember one thing: The drug works.

In an era where good news is in short supply, this analysis from Public Health England suggests that both Pfizer & AstraZeneca are highly effective against hospitalization with the Delta variant (after 2 doses): 1. Pfizer: 96% 2. AstraZeneca: 92% Link: bit.ly/3iBSsn7

I agree that the nRnA vaccines are basically interchangeable but I’ll suggest that Coke and Pepsi are in fact more different than Pfizer and Moderna. I’d frankly fuss less about “We have Moderna is that Ok?”

So there’s much concern about vaccine uptake (and we need to take it very seriously) but really, running 40K Ish a day is NOT a drop, it’s kind of a plateau at a decent dose/pop rate that is about the same as the national average and about 3x higher than the US. Keep it up!

Delta in AB: we are screening close to 100 % of positives so good surveillance. The lions share is in Calgary zone and then Edmonton. Absolute number is honestly low but trend line is terrible and could easily keep marching up without aggressive containment.

Came across this quote (fan of Schweitzer since I first learned about and treated leprosy)- THEN had to find an image to put it on. And goodnight.

Lots of folks talking about the delta transmission in Waterloo. Very little discussion about the outbreak involving 87 marginally housed individuals Vaccine strategies to these populations are key Remember this happened in Thunder Bay prior tbnewswatch.com/local-news/cov…
