Loved tonight’s premiere of Mr Tod, Red Rose Chain’s Christmas production. A multi-talented cast of three brought us comedy gold - slapstick, music and a cast of Beatrix Potter characters. Joanna Carrick’s script and direction in this family show is consummate. Do go and see it!

Just back from Sleeping Beauty at The Regent, Ipswich. Great traditional panto with some very impressive FX, singing and dancing… even some new jokes! A real treat - a fabulous cast, backed by a tremendous band and stage crew. Brilliant FOH people too! Xx

A wonderful Ipswich Civic Service of nine lessons and carols at St Mary le Tower, on Christmas Eve. The bellringing was fabulous; the choir was amazing; Rev Tom Mumford led a friendly service in a packed church with his usual graciousness. God bless us, every one!
