1/3 We as a club support equality in all sports, and especially of that in Rugby. With women's participation in rugby increasing by 28% between 2017 and 2019, it is fast on its way to becoming one of the most popular team sports for women.

2/3 Although Canterbury reiterated their support for gender equality, the lack of uniformity when it comes to something as basic as stocking women's rugby cut and compression shorts is worrying.

3/3 As one of the largest rugby brands in the world Canterbury should be advocating and pushing for equality, instead it seems to have missed the mark.

We finished the season with a leavers vs returners match where the leavers took the victory 🏉🌹 everyone played amazingly and we are sad to say goodbye to many brilliant players and lovely women, we hope to see you in the future as part of our alumni! ❤️
