There is power outage affecting the East end of Colborne. Crews have been working throughout the night to safely restore power and clearing branches off of wires. They are currently working to repair a the feeder that is out. ETR is 3 hours. We will update as soon as we can

Power has been restored at the West End of Colborne. The ETR for the East End of Colborne is 4 hours, due to large trees that have caught fire and fallen on the lines. Crews are awaiting the arrival of assistance to safely remove the trees and restore power.

We are aware of reoccurring power outages affecting Colborne, and now, Cobourg, and new areas across the two territories. The outages are due to trees falling on wires, causing significant damage. Our Lakefront crew is working to restore power as quickly and safely as possible

03/30/2025 2:44pm Power Restoration Update ⚡ We’re making progress! A major feeder has been restored in Cobourg, and several customers should see their power back shortly. Our crews are continuing to work diligently to restore service to all remaining areas.

The Hydro One loss of supply from the M16 feeder in Colborne is ongoing and restoration of power is estimated to be 2-3 hours. We will keep you updated as soon more updates become available. Thank you for your ongoing patience

03/30/2025 To Colborne Customers: Hydro One states they are working in full force. However, due to the extent of ice storm damages and ongoing efforts, this outage may extend into another day.

Hydro One's supply into Colborne has been restored, bringing power back to the majority of the customers as of early evening, March 30th. If you're still experiencing an outage, please call us at 905-372-2193.

Power Outage Update – Cobourg East Power was disrupted in various parts of Cobourg East shortly after midnight last night due to tree debris falling on power lines.  Power was fully restored by 2:30am.
