This week, Year 5 had the pleasure of welcoming @lizziebooks and Matt Abbott | Poet 🍉 into their classrooms as part of the Arvon North writing project for schools 📝 Taking inspiration from how writers get their ideas to write, they got to work creating some stunning pieces 🤩

Over the weekend, families came together for Arvon’s Family Fun Day. Children created poems, many for the first time, and adults enjoyed readings from poets like 🦻🏽Raymond Antrobus and Zaffar Kunial. We had outdoor music, dress up and even giant handmade puppets 🦊🎶✍️

These past 6 months, writers seeking sanctuary have been creating powerful work. Some are well-established, while others are beginning their literary journeys - all of them have incredible stories to share. Now these writers are set to perform their work for you. Details below👇
