Anita Bognomini Once in Ilpolei we visited the #BaboonsRUs habituated baboon group, hosted by the Twala Tenebo community project,and translocated from Nakuru in the 90s - a pioneer action to solve a #HWC case. The landscape this year looks way greener thanks to the recent end of a 3-yr drought.

The journey began with the launch of the first Daasanach #birdguide with the community #birdclub. This project, led by Daniel Burgas and Sara Fraixedas from CREAF, is the result of long-term rapport with the community. Amazing to reflect on the #birddiversity of the region!
