The Merewether Capital Inception Fund returned 17.6% in July as global markets began FY26 on a strong note backed by trade certainty and tepid inflation data. merewethercapital.com.au/wp-content/upl…

Patrick Poke Then we hosted recent Eroad convert Luke Winchester to lead us on an Eroad deepdive on the ASX Small Cap Wrap youtube channel. Sure the share price has moved ~30% since this podcast, but Luke's comments remain relevant if you take a longer term view. youtube.com/watch?v=WBPKMg…

As usual a solid result from $XRF.AX today. It gets lumped in with the general mining services sector, but interesting to compare with $MND.AX and $MAH.AX who also reported today. XRF 24.6% PBT margin vs MND and MAH 5.5% and 5.7% respectively.

Are you trying to sort your way through a deluge of results this earnings season? InvestorPA helps us prioritise the announcements that deserve it first, and also cut out a lot of the companies we don't care about. No more time spend trawling through the 1980s ASX website

The Merewether Capital Inception Fund returned 8.1% in August as global markets continued their bull runs, led by the ASX200 despite a lacklustre reporting season for large caps. merewethercapital.com.au/wp-content/upl…

More than four premierships in a row, the greatest achievement for this Panthers team is turning me into a Broncos fan for a day.

A remarkable turnaround for $AIM.AX since reporting in late August. The business has been misunderstood by the market, exacerbated by the shift to a subscription revenue model that impacts upfront revenue recognition. I think the strong 2H cash result is now being appreciated:

Got some pushback when I said $FND.AX was a sell a few months ago. Time will tell on the current issues but I think the general points remains for the average ASX investor it isn't worth the risk investing in companies with operations in emerging markets.
