We can confirm that we have taken the difficult decision to part ways with our Men’s First Team Manager, Russell Martin.

Doesn’t inspire any confidence whatsoever, but that’s Sport Republic’s fault, not his. Left it months too late to pull the trigger on Martin, so whoever came next would have a mountain to climb. Good luck to him - he’d do well to do any worse than what we’ve seen so far.

Us fans are partly to blame though aren’t we? In the Branfoot days we were screaming every match, demonstrating in car parks outside boardrooms to get the fucker gone. This is far worse from Sports Republic and not a whimper beyond the odd social media post. #saintsfc

It's genuinely so weird and embarrassing that our fans do this every game. Celebrating relegation, singing about the Championship... people should be fuming at what these owners have done to the club. They've turned us into a laughing stock and our fans just go along with it.

This season, like every, i've travelled the country watching #saintsfc & genuinely can't get my head round how some of our support are so fucking placid about what's happened. We have been embarrassed as a club yet where's the anger at the board? When did we get so fucking soft?
