NIL presents more opportunity for athletes:
- Football: low/no draft pick, or NIL?
- Baseball: Single-A farm team, or NIL?
- Basketball: G-League, or NIL?

Not only economic opportunity—but the chance to stay in college, display your talents, and have it pay off even further.

the simple formula:

1. the most important ingredient is exceptional people
2. exceptional people only want to work with others like them
3. as a result, you must become exceptional to attract others
4. therefore, focus on becoming exceptional yourself

'Major Power Four [collectives] spoke on their greatest problems, in order'
- fundraising
- donor fatigue
- building a sustainable network of fans to provide micro donations
- creating a new revenue stream outside of the mega donors

... FanCave.? 👀

I say “collegiate free agency” a lot. I didn’t invent it.

Most experts agree, just ask Jay Williams:

“Talent is way more dispersed than it’s ever really been… we ain’t calling it the transfer portal – it’s the free agency market every single year.”

Have to give Indiana football coach Curt Cignetti credit for his honesty.

He admits that most money is just a salary for playing football, and that the players “really are employees.”

We just paid Julian "Ju Ju" Lewis QB $500 to commit to Colorado via FanCave!

Julian Lewis is one of Deion's top targets, as he would be set to takeover at QB for the Buffs in 2025 once Shedeur goes off to the NFL...

The hype in Boulder going into their Spring Game is only BUILDING 💥

'If anybody in your right mind told any of you guys that you could go triple your income by doing a different job, you would do it in a heartbeat.' - Wisconsin HC

As it should be, as it always should have been, and how it *now is* thanks to + collegiate free agency.

We’re starting to learn lots about the new free agency of college sports (where NIL is a vehicle for paying players)

Here’s one that I reference a lot, too: clawback clauses

Just one of the many crazy terms that are often baked into these pages-long collective contracts

Accurate.👇

You can’t expect players to turn down what is in many cases life altering money based on loyalty.

If there are schools/coaches that still haven’t embraced NIL, now is the time.

The age of collegiate free agency is very, very real:
- players rarely stick where they start
- transferring = opportunity to reassess: market value (NIL $), playing time, role, etc.
- new NCAA transfer rules allow unlimited transfers

More opportunity & options for athletes 🎉
