Some of us live 'within the gap' of Christendom. We maintain orthodox beliefs about the nature of God, the divinity of Jesus, his miraculous birth and resurrection. We also believe in ordaining women and celebrate the lives and love of LGBTQIA people. Do you live in the gap?

If your church is only welcoming to the 'affirming', then your church is not welcoming.

The authority of scripture is not the authority of its most obvious interpretation. The whole point of the Gospels is that Jesus is not an obvious candidate for Christ in light of the most plain reading of ancient messianic texts.
