On Saturday we held our annual GSFR Dinner & presentation evening. We’d like to thank La Pommier hotel for hosting us along with our guests. We’d also like to once again thank our sponsor Manor Farm Foods for their continued support.

The first award to be presented was the Jersey football referee association salver. This award is given to a person who has contributed to the society off the pitch. This years winner is Luke Pattimore who was presented the award by the Jersey Football Referees Association (JFRA) president Ray Sutcliffe

Jersey Football Referees Association (JFRA) The next award was the Bill De La Mare award for the best commer to the society, after showing a lot of promise in his step up to priaulx football the award was presented to Cayden Tardif for a second year in a row, the award was presented by GSFR Vice president Luke Pattimore

Jersey Football Referees Association (JFRA) The final award of the evening was the McCabe plate for referees referee of the year voted by our members. Football league referee Carl Brook presented the trophy to this years winner Ben Boardman

Jersey Football Referees Association (JFRA) We also hosted a raffle on Saturday evening to rise money for MUG, we chose this charity as 3 of our referees have either been diagnosed with prostate cancer in their life time. We’re delighted to say raised £390 on Saturday evening which will be donated to charity.
