Lukas Carpenter gets his third postseason start on the mound for Mount Carmel. The junior RHP has been fantastic, pitching to a 6-0 record and 1.48 ERA, striking out 34 batters in 33 innings and walking just eight. Opponents hitting .215 off him.

Lukas Carpenter’s previous two starts came in the District 4 and state quarterfinals. He went five innings in both instances, allowing just one combined earned run and striking out 12 around seven hits and one walk. He’s allowed one ER or less in six of his seven starts.

17/18U won this morning at their 3rd game of the Prospect Select Mid-Atlantic WS behind a complete game shutout from ‘27 Levi Everitt who went 7IP, 5H, 6K, 0BB. ‘26 Lukas Carpenter (1SB) and Brody Brinkash (2 SB) had a hit and RBI. ‘26 Andrew Novak also had an RBI.

A ‘26 Lukas Carpenter inside the park home run and 3 hits from ‘26 Andrew Novak led the way yesterday for 17/18U getting back to 1-1 at the Prospect Select northeast WS with a 5-4 walk off win.

The bats came alive for 17/18U at Prospect Select Northeast WS. ‘26 Lukas Carpenter (2B) had 3 hits, ‘26s Andrew Novak & Cayne Strouo each had 2. ‘25 Brayden Brinkash had a 2B & 2R. ‘27 Kolemyers01 had a hit & 3 RBI. ‘26s Caden Hopper (RBI) & Wyatt Snyder each had a hit.
