Louisville scores one more, but Arizona gets out of the jam — for now. After 7 full innings, Arizona still leads 3-2.

A Mason White error in the 8th has things getting tense, no outs, runners on first and second for Louisville. Tony Pluta takes the mound. Arizona still leads 3-2.

What had to happen, happened. After a costly error, the runs came in baseball never lies. Louisville now takes the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the 8th.

Another one for Louisville it's 5–3 and the threat continues with runners on the corners.

Incredible mistake at home plate — Pluta dropped the ball and Louisville scores. Then a perfect squeeze play brings in another run. More defensive miscues from the Wildcats, and it’s now 7–3 Louisville.

Arizona is nearly knocked out , on the verge of hitting the canvas. It’s 8–3 after Louisville dominated the 8th inning. One last chance for Arizona. It’s not over until the 27th out.
