This is not good advice. There are no dentists in the ED there is also no dental equipment. The ED staff are already so busy dealing with a huge number of other issues. If NHS dentistry is so broken that this is the only option we need to start thinking a lot harder

I’m gonna just remind everyone that “IT blunders” are not the cause of people doing things they are not qualified or authorised to do (eg. prescribe). It may make it easier for them to do so, but it is not the cause. The cause is individuals knowingly acting unprofessionally.
