Ruri no Houseki #09 SB/ED : Miton みとん After directing ep 5, Miton is back but this time with complete controll over this week episode as SB/ED and one of the AD. One of the most impressive episode i've seen this year, the liveliness this episode depict is just incredible.

Art direction and photogrpahy also whent a step beyond. The show is know for depicting beautifull scenery, especially during sunset, and this episode is no expetion, but this time its not the only time that departemment shine. Also fantastic framing here.

I noticed that Miton like to use far away shots in his SB, there is a lot of that in the episode, and he always try to put the camera in interresting spots, to make the composition of the shot look nice.

One of the highlight moment of the episode was obviously the maid section, wich if i'am correct was key-animated directly by Miton, no need to say that the very long scene is absolutly stellar in every departements. The composite team did an amazing jobs here too.

Curious about this particular running scene in the stairs, the draftmanship in the character animation despite the tricky camera placement is so strong. The animator in charge is definetly someone very skilled.

With this episode, Miton definetly cement his position as an extremely talented storyboarder and episode director. When he have full controll over everything and the neccesary time, he proved that he can do episodes that peoples will remember for a long time! Miton kami!
