Earlier this year I wrote to our VT Congressional delegation urging them to pass an Afghan Adjustment Act. Afghans starting a new life in VT (and across the US) need to know they are safe and can remain in the US. I’m glad to see Senator Chris Coons taking this up.
In packing up today, I came across this gem… On the left, Sen. Patrick Leahy, who is stepping down today after 48 years. On the right, my Chief of Staff Andrew Gillespie who has been there for me and Vermonters and will be sorely missed. Thank you, Andrew, for your service.
