Seeing the Astros fans in game 1 makes me wonder if there would even be a party in Houston if they win the series. That’s some weak energy. After game 3 every Astro free agent is gonna tell their agent, “Get me signed by the Phillies. I want to play there.”

Good episode with a good scholar and friend. I had lunch with Gary right before he had to go tape the interview and he asked me what questions to expect from the lightening round. I said if Matt Lynch is doing it expect bad knock-knock jokes. Alas, no lightening round this time.

New story about the Haitians in Springfield, OH, where the cat hoax originated. CEO of McGregor Metal: “I wish I had 30 more. Our Haitians come to work every day. They don’t have a drug problem. They’ll stay at their machine. That’s a stark difference from what we’re used to.”

Six weeks ago we dropped our son off at Gordon College for his freshman year. In the last two years it feels like he’s gone from being my son to my friend. Made for a very hard ‘goodbye.’ We’re thrilled that he’s doing so well and look forward to visiting him this weekend.

A lot of people know deep down that the Trump Admin is behaving shamefully with regard to Ukraine, but don't want to admit, even to themselves, that America is being dishonorable, so they fixate on matters of no consequence, like Zelensky's manners, to distract their consciences
