Our lab had a great morning at the 3rd Annual Senior Black American Health Fair hosted at Pennington Biomedical Research Center! We provided education on ways to improve brain health, completed over 60 free memory screenings, shared info about LSU Psychology Department, and offered fun VR “travel” experiences.


Beyond excited to announce that I have been accepted into the Clinical Psychology PhD program at the LSU. I will be studying under the mentorship of Matthew Calamia and Neuropsychometrics Research Group. As well, I’m honored to be awarded the SREB Fellowship!! 🥳

After almost 4 years of work here at LSU, and over a year of collecting data I have successfully defended my dissertation, I am incredibly proud of this project and will be forever grateful for my lab (Neuropsychometrics Research Group) and to my advisor (Matthew Calamia) for allowing me to do this project


Today our lab launched a free neuropsychology clinic for older adults from underserved communities in Baton Rouge. We are grateful for Alzheimer's Services for opening their doors to us this Saturday as an accessible place in the community to conduct these evaluations.
