MISD is showing support during National Dyslexia Awareness Week (October 3-7) for our students. Let's all wear red on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, to honor those in MISD (and in the world) who are Dyslexic.

Our Lone Star Elementary Longhorns have cleaned the grocery store shelves of jelly! Check out all they’ve collected (47,000oz) for the Lake Creek High School vs Montgomery High School Peanut Butter and Jelly competition, benefiting the Montgomery County Food Bank! They added their own competition and it's paying off!

It's #DyslexiaAwarenessWeek and Lone Star Elementary Interventionists, Fowler & Herrington, went above and beyond to recognize their students. Louie is a mango with Dyslexia and is taking the steps to improve his reading and all 46 Dyslexic students now have a Louie of their own!
