Assembled and tested some simple shunt resistor boards for hooking up current sensors to my Labjack and finalized the numbers on a preliminary combustion chamber design. Been a productive morning.

About 1/3rd of my McMaster Carr prize money is reflected by just these 2 pressure differential sensors, and as long as they work I’ll have gotten a good deal from what i’ve seen of prices for other sensors. Gotta love instrumentation prices.

Watch Firefly land on the Moon! After identifying surface hazards and selecting a safe landing site, #BlueGhost landed directly over the target in Mare Crisium. A historic moment on March 2 we'll never forget. We have Moon dust on our boots! #BGM1

Stand assembly work this morning has proven a harsh reminder of why flare and compression fittings are so much nicer to work with than NPT especially when trying to clock fittings.

Anyone know somebody I could talk to about testing a small amateur liquid engine in the Durango, CO area around June? It's a small ~100 lbf N2O/IPA thruster.

Tank got in today and the chamber just needs some injector posts installed and a proof test before it is ready for hot fire testing

The good news: Feeling motivated to work on projects again after a busy few weeks The bad news: .005” orifices are small actually

Last weekend my school team launched our nitrous/ipa powered rocket to 21.5k feet. Not a bad first launch by the team. Future plan is just keep refining and going higher. Super cool to see a refined version of the rocket I led the team on last year as chief engineer launch.

I just found out I have $120 worth of bambu points from a singular model i uploaded a year ago. Perhaps it’s printer upgrade to P1S time.
