This is a very easy fix for the NCAA. They will just move forward with a new division that gets all the money. Then the South Dakota schools can try to beat Northern State and Truman State and other like schools in D2.

It's absurd that the NCAA didn't have a member vote to approve the proposed House settlement and that it has forced it down the throats of non-Power 4 conference schools. But why didn't they object in the pending House case and why did they take so long to do something about it?

Schools at this level were as much responsible (numerically, more so) for NCAA rules that have proven to be problematic as the major programs they want to bear all the cost.
