A pre-course routine --plant something new in the garden. The new plant grows as our class community grows. For the class ending tonight, I planted basil- the basil has grown so much that it could be pruned & replanted! ... And in the garden a new friend appeared too!

The world looks different now. She was great at defying expectation. She managed to grow very old and somehow, not old enough. We’ll miss you, Betty. Now you know the secret.

It’s important to find something that motivates you

Explaining/going over expectations is everything. If you do not explain or go over do not expect to see progress. This foundation needs to be provided…If you do not do this then you failed them & they did not fail you… am I making any sense?

Paraprofessional input is important to consider because this can help improve instruction and staff moral
