The Brick Factory School in Nepal is changing lives as it provides education to children whose parents are employed at the factory. Students went on a zoo trip, seeing hippos, monkeys, and lions 🦁🐒🐾 The joy and excitement have sparked a newfound enthusiasm for school.

3 years ago today, the Taliban took over Afghanistan. As we reflect on the experiences of our teachers and students in Afghanistan & the families who have resettled in San Diego, we are reminded of their incredible journeys, honor their struggles, & celebrate their achievements.

May marked two years since the volcanic eruption in the Congo. Since then, our school has continued to thrive, now educating 248 primary and 37 kindergarten students. Despite the challenges of M23, our community's resilience and dedication have led to remarkable achievements!

Happy Friday! Here's an update from our single mom boutique in San Diego! Every item in our boutique helps create brighter futures for women and their families 💗

We're opening a Boutique in Ukraine! It'll offer free goods to women and children such as baby supplies, baby & kids clothing, women’s clothing, books, & various household items. That's what Love Does, we show up in the hardest situations and find ways to love our neighbors well.

Season 2 of the Love Does Podcast launches on Sept. 16th! This podcast gives listeners behind the scene insight into our programs & the incredible leaders who make them happen. Our first episodes of season two will feature the inspiring leadership of our team in Ukraine & Poland.

For several months, Beranice & her children lived in their car while waiting for housing. Her son's epilepsy made this challenging. In the spring of 2024, Beranice received an apartment in San Diego through a local housing program & we stepped in to help make it feel like home!
