Had an awful journey from Darlington to Aberdeen last Friday. Should have taken 4 and a half hrs but took over 7 with one cancelled train, one delay which meant a missed connection and further delays. 1/ TrainPal

The return journey was just as bad with Aberdeen to Edinburgh cancelled so we had to get a coach (!) instead which got in 5 minutes before our train left but then of course the train was delayed by 40 mins 2/ TrainPal

So we had to make different arrangements for our pick up from the station and our child to be picked up from school as we weren't back in time. A disaster. To make matters worse I requested a refund of the tickets & it has been refused!Absolutely terrible service TrainPal 4/

How long does it take to get a response let alone an actual refund from americanair ? Contacted 10 days ago - they cancelled flights home from USA for no reason & didn't inform us. I realised night before when I got a notification on my app to check in to our nonexistent flights

Sent a DM to Hilton Hotels yesterday after yet another unsatisfactory response and still no reply..they think that 25000 HH points is satisfactory compensation for the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I expected so much more from a hotel of this calibre. Very disappointed
