It turns out that the Flyers' Egor Zamula was actually the best in the NHL when it came to this one, often overlooked, statistic. broadstreethockey.com/post/philadelp…

Yup, Slafkovsky was one of the final candidates for the article's cover photo before landing on Crosby. Always loved his playmaking from low in the zone and along the boards since his draft year so it felt pretty vindicating to see that reflected in his metrics here.

Here are Brady's last 3 seasons. Forecheck offence brought his score down from the best-of-the-best this year, likely an adaptation to a new system under Green.

Curious as to how a skater's ability to fight through pressure correlates to winning? Our newest article dropped this week that includes a case study on the Florida Panthers' playoff success and San Jose Sharks rookie Will Smith's development path. 🔗: lb-hockey.com/2025/08/13/def…

Svechkov's ability to play through contact was very impressive for a rookie last season. Sure he wasn't going out of his way to seek it (low proactive peripherals and just good forecheck engagement) but he was able to shoulder pressure & leverage his physicality all over the ice.

Nazar's signing almost exactly reflects our market expectation for him on an 8y deal, which was at 6.53M. This extension should be a surplus deal on the whole. I'm very high on him and would not be shocked to see this turn into a superb value contract. 📈 lb-hockey.com

Great deal for the Wild. Rossi tends to be the type of player who will be undervalued on the market relative to his performance. He's already well worth that 5M, and should continue to add to that surplus over the next 3 years. 📈 lb-hockey.com

I'll have proper patch notes detailing everything later this week, but feels good to finally be (seemingly) done the LB-Hockey summer-long maintenance with days to spare through today's PR
