Pleased to share our #openaccess paper in Transportation Journal We report #gender differences in active travel in major cities across the world, how these differences vary by age, and the types of travel modes that contribute to activity. link.springer.com/article/10.100…

The only major outlier is Delhi where, unlike every other city, women have on average signf lower levels of active travel (walk+cycle) time than men. Thats because a large proportion of women in Indian cities report not going out of home at all!
