In 2022, Metro Council passed our ordinance to fund a park at 13th and Muhammad Ali Blvd. Today we broke ground on Walnut Street Park, which will feature a splash pad, playground, and a multi-sport turf field. The field will be home to the National Champion 10th Street Cardinals.

A clipper system will bring light snow showers through the region tonight into Friday morning, which could impact the morning commute. Little if any accumulations are expected, but slick spots on roadways could develop. Slow down and drive safe!

Our partners at NWS Louisville have issued a WINTER STORM WATCH for our area starting late Sat. night - Mon. afternoon. Now is a good time to prepare for ice & snow, & to reach out to your family or friends to make sure you have a place to stay in the event your home loses power.
