Excellent statistical report by @dcediy which provides comparative child health & activity data across Europe including (any) breastfeeding rates at 3 months. This is 96% in Hungary, 60% avg in Europe, 40% in Ireland. The NI rate was 27% in 2018 [Ref Public Health Agency] RCPCH

Super day at UCD yesterday with the student PHNs.I always love teaching this group every year with their enthusiasm and gratitude to learn all the can in supporting mothers and their babies in their breadtfeeding journey.

@WaterfordWUH I was so impressed with the services on offer in the care of the elderly dept at WUH this week taking my 91 year old Dad for an appointment. Staff were super. Sevice was streamlined with no wait. Well done to all running this service.

WE finish the current prep course for the Ibclc exam this weekend with mock exams. I so enjoyed working with this group of PHNs, midwives from all over the country,nurses from NICUs and Temple Street Hospital, dietician and practice nurses. It makes for great shared learning.
