Our A level music class took a trip to London Southbank on Friday to see John Williams vs Hans Zimmer. A brilliant opportunity for them to broaden their wider listening!

Year 10 GCSE drama took a trip up to London yesterday to see Ocean at the end of the Lane, they were a credit to the drama department!

Two more impressive entries from year 13 music students. Hannah created two cakes with the title ‘cloudbusting’ inspired by our Kate Bush revision and Lottie created a ‘magic circle of music’ in cake form for our 20th century music unit!

The Music department is preparing for the Carol Service next Tuesday! We hope to see lots of you there where all our choirs and some select instrumentalist will be performing! Here is a sneak Chamber Choir’s rehearsal of Carol of the Bells to put you in the festive mood!

On Tuesday night we had our lovely carol service putting us all in the festive mood! Well done to all our performers from all our extra curricular clubs! We would like to wish everyone a happy, healthy and musical Christmas!

As we head to the summer term we want to celebrate our chamber choir, who have completed their final performance with year 13. So let’s take a look at our favourite performances from this past year. Auditions for spaces in chamber will be in July!
