2 days ago I thought I could try to vibe code an entire app on my phone only while commuting Yesterday I came up with an idea and fed it to Cursor online to get a PRD. (Not good for vibe coding) Refined it to be fed into Bolt.new and fed the first task. (Let me

Vibe Commuting Day 3: No commuting today, I’m so tempted to go and check what Bolt built. But I have a longer commuting tomorrow and I’ll burn some credits then! Do you implement auth and db early on or later?

If you are a student or somehow qualify, this is for you - free API credits - massive networking - and you get paid, makes it even better!

Vibe commuting day 4: Plot Twist you cannot see your project on mobile using Bolt. Thinking of deploying it and then iterate. This is a bummer Anyone has better solutions?

If you vibe code on mobile, use Lovable. Bolt new won’t cut it as you don’t have a chance to see a preview. Had to restart the project on Lovable and the first result is a bit meh

Today I just fixed a flow where non authenticated users would have access to a “get discount” button. And also realised the biggest competitor in the country - has a huge selection, say 100 to 1 - priced themselves at $20/year (promotion) - doesn’t have the app in English

What’s one something you see implemented everywhere that doesn’t make sense? For example, I see people using useMemo in pieces of code that are definitely not expensive.

AI Makes Developers Slower That’s basically the outcome of a study. Not a little, 20% slower! While it makes you *feel* 20% faster. How would you try to evaluate this objectively in your workflow?

METR conducted a study on the use of AI coding tools. It slows development down by 20% I don’t feel like that. The problem is that the study also says AI makes you feel 20% faster 😅 So how do you know?

Just got some real feedback from a user on my extension! Just nice to share and I hope you will also get one step further today!

Something I see engineers doing a lot. They accept real costs now (time) for creating solutions that might stand hypothetical problems like “what if the api grows?”, “let’s change the api name to reflect… ” what exactly I’m not sure. They do it because it’s not their money
