The U.S. has long failed to adequately fund and maintain the Pine River Indian Irrigation Project. I traveled to Ignacio with Bureau of Reclamation Commissioner Touton to welcome $2.3M from BOR’s WaterSMART program to ensure the Southern Ute Indian Tribe can access the water it needs.
