🍕🍃Happy Food Waste Friday! Did you know that last year alone Loraas Organics diverted 8,000 tonnes of organic waste from the landfill? We processed those materials back into premium Class A compost in 8-13 weeks. 🌱

🧊☀️Our Materials Manager Dale picked up some popsicles for our Loraas Recycle employees this afternoon. The wonderful people who hand sort your recyclables work in an open air facility - that means they work in the same temperature that it is outdoors and today is a HOT ONE!

🥺🔥🪫Following our friends at SGI and literally begging you to stop putting batteries in your recycling. It causes fires, puts our employees at risk, and ruins other good clean recyclables.

🤣😂We couldn't resist this excellent Dad joke... In all seriousness, when it comes to paper - if you can rip it, you can recycle it! ♻️
