In January 2015, members of the Gurkha Welfare Trust set off to conquer Everest, wearing a watch made by Robert Loomes. Their first attempt was unsuccessful, as a devastating earthquake hit Nepal. In May 2017, they returned, this time successfully reaching the summit. #horology
